Add a Burst of Color to a Grey Winter’s Day

One thing you can say about New York in the middle of January is that it’s so grey outside! Everything from the air to the ground and also the buildings look grey. I love the various changes from season to season. The one thing I like about the dead of winter is that it makes us really appreciate the other three seasons!

The explosion of color during spring isn’t too far away, but why wait! Color your world now with a simple assortment of colored glass bud vases. Displayed on a windowsill with a single bloom or branch in each one will add just the right touch to your home or office.

Hi, I love this site. I recently saw a very simple but elegant arrangement. It consisted of long curly bamboo in a vase. The bamboo had strings of square clear crystals dangling from it and it caught the light for an evening centerpiece. I would very much like to replicate it, but I cannot find out what the crystal dangly things are called, or where to buy them on line. I would appreciate any advice you might be able to offer me on this.
Thank you

Janet, for crystal threads that I believe you are talking about, try and online website called jemaligarden.com (or .net, not sure). Hope that helps
