More Fun Ideas for Grandparents Day!

Mod GrandMomma

Back in the day, this granny was groovin’ to the sounds of the English invasion. She was a flower child who found her passion in the fashions of Carnaby Street. You’ve heard the stories and you’ve seen the photos! Let her know that she still has it and bring her back to her days of mini shirts, bold patterns and neon colors. It’s Flower Power baby!

For this bouquet, bright Gerbera daisies are arranged in a narrow beverage glass that has been wrapped in a polka-dot bottle koozie.

Sick Days with Nana and Bob Barker

Some of my daughter Casey’s fondest grammar school memories are her “sick” days at Nana Anna’s (nana’s are godsends to the working mom). Nana would get her all set up on the couch with a pillow and blankets, make her a comforting bowl of her favorite soup and together they would watch “The Price is Right.” Tomato soup doesn’t taste quite as good anywhere else!
