Catch Me at the Macy’s Flower Show – April 7th!
How would you like to take a hot air balloon ride over the Napa Valley or soar with the butterflies and be free? Join me at the Macy’s Flower Show “Up in The Air” on Wednesday, April 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City. My seminar will be located on the 8th Floor in Fine China. Learn how to create your own floral fantasy hot air balloons like the ones pictured in this post. I’ll also be sharing ideas for creating springtime designs featuring branches, birds and nests.
This will be my fourth year as a featured designer at the world famous Macy’s Flower Show and it has always been a wonderful experience. I hope that you can stop on by. Relax for a while, learn something new, meet new friends, and enjoy the magical world of flora and fauna at Macy’s. I can guarantee you will be glad you came!

Julie is it possible for you to also post the steps on how to do this hot air balloon with butterflies and flowers here in your blog? I do want to come in your Up in the Air show however my location makes it so impossible. I’m really so dying to know those steps and hoping you would grant this little request I have for my up coming wedding day. Thank you so much!

Love this look – I tried to recreate it using very small balloons tied with strings and encased in silk-string mesh – made the illusion that the flower basket was huge and that it would take 10 big balloons to lift it – thanks for sharing the idea – appreciate it!
